In Asia, there is a culture that believes that reading palms can show what will happen to our lives in the future. As there are many branches in the lines of the palm, there are many forks in life. I wanted to depict how depending on which road we take, we experience different hardship and become different people. I drew fortune cookie inserts in place of palm lines. At the end of the hand, which could show the consequences of choice, I drew birds.
